1. “What’s the biggest shift you see in the real estate industry right now?”

There are many, but from AktivBo’s perspective, two stand out.

AI is a focus across almost all industries and naturally plays a central role for us in data-driven analytics. We have only seen the beginning of how it can be utilized, and it’s truly exciting. As a vertical specialist, our ambition is to offer something better than just generic LLM services. That’s why we develop our platform with industry-specific AI solutions, built on more than 30 years of knowledge and data.

Another major shift is the increased focus on tenant satisfaction and tenant experience. These topics are now higher on property managers’ agendas. More commercial and residential property owners see tenant satisfaction as a key KPI and want to track and improve their core business: serving their paying customers. I believe the tougher financial climate has contributed, as vacancies and tenant turnover have become a reality for many real estate companies. The need for tenant feedback and data-driven decision-making has clearly grown. A stronger emphasis on social sustainability has also increased the demand for deeper tenant insights.

2. “What sets AktivBo apart in the proptech industry?”

That’s a dangerous question to ask a salesperson, but I’ll keep it brief. 😊

AktivBo is more than just proptech; that’s a key differentiator. We offer a full-service approach, and I believe more stakeholders are looking for specialists so they can focus on their core business. Another platform alone isn’t the solution to our customers’ challenges; they want a partner who can help them achieve the results they’re aiming for.

And unlike most other proptech companies, we have been in business for almost 35 years and have promoted a data-driven mindset from the very beginning. Our “why” has remained intact throughout, while our “how” and “what” evolve every day.

3. “Where do you see AktivBo creating the most value in the years ahead?”

We will continue to pursue our vision of improving tenant satisfaction worldwide. Our current focus is on developing next-generation, AI-powered tenant satisfaction services—solutions that create value for both our customers and their tenants. Built on our action-and-effect planning tool, our predictive model will deliver increasing value as our dataset continues to grow.
